Exploring New Fabrics and Designs

Feb 1, 2022

What we find particularly inspiring throughout the process of rejuvenating a site is the opportunity to explore fabric types and introduce new designs.

Our previous article looked at how we work with our clients to rejuvenate a facility with a refresh of furniture or an entire new fit out. The careful selection of colours, patterns, and textures of new fabric plays an important role in the “rejuvenation” process as they can alter a hospitality establishment’s atmosphere instantly. Fabric lends the chance to inject positivity through striking colours, reflect calm with understated hues, invoke memories of times gone-by through a crafted look and feel, and many more options.

The Archer Hospitality team are deft at breathing new life into existing spaces by introducing a fusion of new fabrics and furniture. A perfect example is the Petra Bar Stool – a piece that is a highly popular choice for hotels, restaurants, and elegant coffee shops thanks to its remarkable presence. Part of a stylish, contemporary, and simple collection, it available in a wide variety of wood finishes and fabrics of various colours and textures. Introducing statement pieces like the Petra can change the appearance of a space completely, whilst minimising costs of an entire refit.

Naturally, our extensive range of fabrics can be tailored to fit the tone of every facility. For example, to add a dash of retro-chic, we recommend introducing plush fabrics which offer superior softness and feel luxurious to the touch. Plush fabrics which will not only spruce up tired ‘areas’ of furniture, but also make a statement whilst providing excellent comfort – our Bling Collection perfectly showcases the sleek appearance of new plush upholstery.

Equalling our unmatched product offering is the Archer Hospitality team’s commitment to going beyond client expectations. This is highlighted by a recent project undertaken with the developers of The Rise, Titirangi who had a design concept with 3 key elements; 1: Create a hospitality destination for Titirangi locals to experience exciting street food concepts in a space which is fresh to the palette. 2: Contribute to the development of local hospitality, raising the bar yet again as other venues have done before. 3: Open a venue that is considered current, intriguing, and attractive while supporting multiple vendors showcasing their individual product. With a strong focus on earthy green tones & rusty terracotta red along with natural timber & feature tiled tops we provided custom-made banquette seating, dining tables & leaners for outdoors & indoors to reflect the expert design specs by the wonderful team at CTRL Space. The Rise, Titirangi – well worth a visit!
